As people, we experience that there is a world outside of us, and that we are part of it.  Our experience is also that this world is forever changing. Some changes, as we perceive them,  are good. Other changes strike us as bad. For example, the world population is tipping the scale at over 6 billion people.  At the same time our resources for survival, like water and food, are strained almost to breaking point. Thanks to medical discoveries we are living much longer, but what to do with our seniors? People from all over the world are connecting and living together, yet racial cleansing and prejudice are still causing serious atrocities in many parts of the world. High speed technologies like laptop computers, electronic mail, cell phones allow us almost instantaneous communication with people virtually all over the world. At the same time, unbridled technology without higher consciousness to guide it, now makes any city in the world vulnerable to terrorist nuclear attack.

            This, forever changing world, informs our view of the self, our view of others and all there is, as we perceive it.  In this context, we feel it becomes very hard to know others, even harder to  know one’s true Self.

        The purpose of Know thySelf Inc. is to provide information that helps undo the  seeming separation between the self and the world, as we think we made them.  Know thySelf Inc. recognizes that our experience of the world (effect) is the expression of our own mind’s perceptions (cause). It further recognizes that by focusing our attention on understanding and becoming aware of our perceptions, we can change our experience of the events in our lives. We can reach peace, sustain it, and end the source of conflict in our lives.
